The Chee Awana opening the way between the Rocky Mountains through the Cascades to the Pacific Ocean. Wind is the norm in the Gorge as east and west flow toward each other. The rare lamb of early March has appeared.

  2. Beautiful! Lovely pictures, especially the grebes. They are such fun birds to watch.

    • Thanks! Yes – the Grebes are continuosly disappearing into their dives… always a guess just where they will appear – This spot – at a point out into the River seems to be a regular favorite at dusk…
